The thing about standing up a new company is that, nowadays, Googling your own business comes with being bombarded by ads from all the other acts in town. It can seem that competition is everywhere, but with a little bit of market research, it was proven that the time is right – right now – to introduce ourselves in a big way around Knoxville. With ONE Service Pros year one in the books, the next steps of our marketing strategy had been designed for incremental growth in multiple avenues of advertising, but then the pandemic shook the nation. Quarantine altered life for many homeowners now staying home for months, relying on home systems more often, noticing necessary repairs and desired upgrades, spending stimulus checks on home improvement, and spending more time in front of the TV. So, that’s where we’re going. During commercial breaks on cable TV— like HGTV, and ESPN, and Say Yes to the Dress— Knoxville will be meeting us in a big way! We’re telling the story of one fated day when ONE Service Pros came to the rescue of a family whose lovely Seymour home needed a lot of help right away.

In early 2019, Janet Livingston, owner of Seymour-based Call Center Sales Pro was looking for an electrician in the area but over and over she encountered companies that were not delivering the reliable service that she expected. Janet decided that, since she couldn’t find what she wanted, she would leverage her business know-how to launch an electric service company that met her expectations of quality, affordability, and reliability. One Electric was born. During the next year, Janet saw additional needs in other areas: a need for home security monitoring became One Home & Safety. When Janet decided to add plumbing as well as heating and cooling (HVAC) services, the original two brands merged, adding the additional services and ONE Service Pros was born. From installing a light switch to responding to an emergency repair from storm damage, when someone in the community needs help, ONE Service Pros was built from the ground up to respond 24/7 — making them the only four vertical service company with the capacity to act in the greater Knoxville area. A customer that sustained storm damage on Christmas eve and needed emergency service shared, “we had a tree fall on our power line and ONE Service Pros was able to come out during a snow storm on Christmas Eve and get us set up so the power company could reattach the line. Earlier this month our team again partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains. “Our team always loves golfing with the Boys & Girls Club,” shared Janet Livingston, owner of One Service Pros. “Everyone gets really competitive and the gloating continues back in the office for weeks. None of them are out there shooting like Tiger Woods but everyone gets a lucky shot in at some point!” With a mission dear to Janet’s heart, One Service Pros returned to sponsor the 16th annual Play FORE The Kids Golf Tournament to support the many programs that the Boys & Girls Club offer to serve the youth in Sevier county. Through art, education, health & physical fitness, social enrichment, teen focused programs, the Boys & Girls Club boasts that when school is out, Clubs are in! As a mother, a grandmother, and community member proud to invest to our region, Janet knows the value of sharing time and resources into the next generation. “Giving these kids the tools to succeed so that they can grow up and give back to their communities is a gift that keeps on giving. Really, the part that we’re doing is so small – but the return on that investment is invaluable.” Volunteers engage K-12 students in a broad variety of programs that not only enrich the children in our community, but it’s also fun!
